Eric began at Hudbay Minerals as the Operational Readiness Manager of a $1.7B copper mine and concentrator in the remote Andean Mountains of Peru and finished as Vice President of South America Business Unit. His most notable accomplishments include saving more than $84M to offset losses due to market downturn in copper. He also innovated the company’s first cross-functional task force to drive creative strategies in profit optimization and expense reduction while overseeing a $250M annual budget.
